Another Life Changed

Thank you and your staff for introducing me to an alternate for the CPAP Machine.  The SomnoDent Appliance has literally changed my life … I can breathe again!

I’m a young man – 63 – physically fit and active.  But shortly after retiring from the Navy 24 years ago, I started snoring – lightly at first, then it became louder and louder – so loud that my wife had to turn up the television in the livingroom to drown out my snoring – and I was in the bedroom – over 40’ away, behind closed doors.  My doctor had me fitted for a CPAP Machine … and it worked – if I kept my mouth closed, and if I didn’t sleep on my side, and if I didn’t talk to my wife, and if … and if … it wasn’t pretty.

I told my doctor I wasn’t happy with CPAP, and she suggested I talk to you – that you had a new type of oral device that might fit my needs better; I did, and it did, and it does!  It works like a champ, is very comfortable (became comfortable after the first week), and stopped my snoring the first night I wore it.  It actually kept my wife awake the first week and a half – she had to check me to see if I was still alive – I was sleeping so soundly and quietly.  Now she gets her good night’s sleep, and so do I … thank you sooo much Sleep Better Northwest for giving me back my life!  I can breathe again!
